Had palak paneer, butter chicken, vindaloo, and chicken biryani. Great service food was just as good. Restaurant was very clean and tidy. Only thing was the palak paneer just needed a tad more salt but either than that everything was spot on. Definitely coming back.

This place has amazing Indian cuisine! Not only is their food incredible, but their service is amazing as well. I highly recommend chicken curry, Daal Masala and garlic naan. I'm excited each time I come to try something new. Highly recommended.

Last few times I have been here it has been very good. Comfort food for us. I am sorry at the owner's passing and he was a good man always helping others. His young sons have taken over and doing their best as they grew up by their dad's side. These are very good people and very community oriented. They do so much for others and are very kind people! I respect this family and support our local businesses so I have been eating here more often!!! Everyone in the community should support our good restaurants out here( bc honestly there are far and few between in the East County area and we need to keep the best ones out here!) and also support hard working good, decent and kind business owners! I wish these young men much success bc I know they will make their father proud as they are good boys and will follow in their dad's footsteps! Let's help support them and give back the karma their dad and family has given to everyone else! Support decent good people! I know I will be definitely- one of my favorite Indian restaurants out in this area( along with Mehran- their other restaurant which has been our longtime favorite too)! May he rest in peace.

i've heard so many great things about bawarchi's and everything i heard was true! the food here is delicious, and the service is extremely hospitable. i haven't had a ton of exposure to indian no pakistani food, but i can tell this experience just opened up to doors to a new flavor palette. we started off the meal with an absolutely BANG. the bollywood wings were insane! the wings were super juicy and the thick sweet and savory sauce coated each wing perfectly. the vegetables sautéed into the sauce were packed with flavor. none of this went to waste. i easily could've had two orders of this! next, we had to get back to the basics and try their butter chicken, accompanied by the mixed naan basket and roti. the naan basket consisted of 3 flavors (garlic cilantro, onion, and cheese), in which the garlic and cheese were my favorites. they're fun to eat on their own but even better when dip in the creamy, rich butter chicken stew. the flavor was savory, a bit sweet and balanced with the creaminess. my favorite part was that they used chicken thighs. the chicken was tender, juicy, and just fell apart marvelously. lastly, we had the tandoori chicken which was also delicious! the char of the chicken added a lot of flavor and texture and kind of reminded me of fond camping and bbq memories, grilling chicken with my dad! the chicken was juicy, and piping hot upon arrival. all in all, this was a fantastic meal and experience. i would highly recommend this to anyone in the east bay area. i especially love to see that this is a family business. what we ordered: bollywood wings roti mixed naan basket butter chicken tandoori chicken

Came here to say on a whim because the wife had a taste for some Indian food! And I must say it didn't disappoint. We had chicken tikki masala (medium), butter chicken (mild), and tandoori lamb! A little bit of garlic naan, and plain rice. Everything was on point! I wished the masala had a little bit more kick, medium was extremely mild in my opinion. But all the flavors were there, the food was extremely good. The restaurant is tucked away in a little corner next to Target . The inside of the restaurant gives a Chinese restaurant feel, but the service was really good, and the food came out quick!

Came here today (still eating my food as I write this) and I have pretty pleasant things to say. At pickup (first time here) I was amazed by how the place looked. But, onto the food! I only got 1 item. I got the Chicken Biryani & it was good! It was ready within 10 minutes and wasn't too expensive, especially considering the large portion they had given me. The aromatic smell filled up my car as I brought it home & I had no complaints other than it making me hungrier by the mile. The flavor was there, with lots of spices and herbs; you can see it, smell it, and sense it. The rice & chicken were cooked to perfection, not dry at all. The only downside of the Meal (resulting in this 4 star rather than a 5 star) was the lack of salt. Luckily, I thought to add some once I started eating & it made my taste buds dance. The little white sauce it also came with (not sure what it is called) matched perfectly with the chicken biryani. I can't wait to come back and order everything from here!
